May Day is a Natural

A sweet place in the shade.

If you've spent any time in SoWal you know that each beach community has its own personality. May Day is located in a section of Seagrove that is south of 30A and east of Seaside. Gravel roads and the shade from scrub oak and pines give it an Old Seagrove vibe but without the traffic. It's a short walk to the community pool, a popular spot for the kiddies. To access the beach you can choose between Eastern Lake and Rams Gate. Both have their charms. This is a good area to check out Stand Up Paddleboarding; very popular along the Gulf and the Lake. This is a central location so if you want to explore other beach towns, drive or ride your bike west to Seaside or east toward Rosemary Beach. You will find excellent casual dining along the way. SteamBoat Grill is close and you are never too far from a Perfect Pig. Also, if you like flowers and plants, please go by Clay Garden; a truly delightful excursion.
