With an additional 2,800 sf of outdoor living, Lucky Dog borders the Grayton Beach State Park and has Gulf glimpses from the 3rd floor, private heated pool (heating fee applies), neighborhood beach access within a 2-minute stroll, 4 bedrooms/4 baths, and sleeps up to 10.
Being surrounded by the Grayton Beach State Park gives Gulf Trace guests ONE FULL MILE of beautiful, undisturbed beaches to enjoy; 2 private neighborhood beach accesses. PLEASE NOTE - Golf carts and on-street parking are STRICTLY PROHIBITED in the Gulf Trace neighborhood, per neighborhood covenants.
Lucky Dog borders the Grayton Beach State Park, named America’s #1 Beach in 2020 by Dr. Stephen Leatherman, aka Dr. Beach! “This beach boasts of its sugar-white sand and emerald green water where development has been restrained so big sand dunes still dominate the landscape. At the same time, all the amenities of great restaurants and accommodations are close by in the old town of Grayton Beach or Seaside," wrote Leatherman. Originally named the country’s top beach in 1994, Grayton Beach State Park has been listed FOUR times since 1991, finishing 6th in 2016 and 3rd in 2019.

Great house at our favorite beach! Love all the porches and the pool. They were wonderful and were a godsend on a rainy day. Wonderful layout for families to have their own space and still be together. The wooded area around the pool was visually so calming. Made you feel secluded. Just a delight! Porch was perfect and lots of space to have a quiet place to think. Easy to get to beach which was beautiful. Our week at Lucky Dog was nearly perfect-a few rainy days and double red flags kept us from the beach a few days. This was our third time staying at the Lucky Dog and 5th time staying in Gulf Trace. Grayton Beach is our favorite family destination. This trip was extra special for a few reasons. 1. It has been nice to have all my kids under one roof again. 2. We celebrated my daughter graduating high school and will be off to college. 3. We celebrated our middle child's engagement of 2 weeks and 4. Our oldest son proposed to his girlfriend at the beach (She said yes!.)! We love it here and wish we could stay longer.

Wonderful Thanksgiving trip to see family. We spent most of our time at the beach. We caught some catfish and a blue crab. Mostly we cooked here but we did have an amazing meal at The Bay, especially the grouper ravioli! The water here is the most beautiful we have ever seen. We even kayaked in the gulf. Loved every minute!

Thanks for another great trip to Grayton! This was our second time at Lucky Dog after visiting during the same week last year. This time we brought extended family and all had a great time. The highlight this trip may have been the marine life. We saw crabs, dolphins, a sting ray and even swam 20 feet from a manatee out in the surf! Many thanks for renting out your home. I suspect we will be back again.

Well, our vacation at Lucky Dog has ended and we already miss it. Everything was perfect – well, maybe not the weather the early part of the week but we still managed to enjoy the pool between the rainfalls. For the grandkids, the pool was the highlight of the vacation. We did get to the beach a couple of times and it was delightful. A short walk, no steps to the beach, not crowded – just perfect. The house was wonderful – well stocked with everything we needed and more. We love the neighborhood, too. It was nice and quiet and seems like a very family-friendly area. We have stayed at Seacrest and some other beach areas nearby but they’re just getting too congested. We all agreed this is the best one yet!! Thank you so much. All of you have been great to work. This was a long time coming since it was originally planned for 2020, and it made this vacation even more special. Can’t thank you all enough. Have a wonderful year and we look forward to another vacation thru Grayt30A !

We had the best time staying here. The kids had a BLAST in the pool. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! The proximity of the house to the beach was perfect. It made for an easy walk with the kids to the beach. The screened in porch was perfect for dinner at night and hanging out. The kids were more sad about leaving the pool than the beach. So glad we chose this house!

We love staying here we have stayed here for 2 years! The kids love the pool and being able to walk or ride bikes to the beach. They also love riding to dinner on bikes. This is and always will be a great quiet happy neighborhood. It is great space even if we have two families (3 girls, boy and 4 parents)! We also love how close all the shops are to this. We have had ice cream every night because it (again) is so close!

We had a great stay at Lucky Dog in Grayton Beach. It was exactly what we were looking for in a spring getaway (from the pandemic AND the cold). The beach is easily accessible and beautiful. Because it is private access, it was also not crowded at all. The house was comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the pool (which is as big as it looks in the pictures), the fire pit, and the screened porch a lot. On cooler days we biked the Timpoochee bike trail which was also great. This was perfect for our family and exactly what we were looking for!

We recently stayed at the Lucky Dog property and could not be more pleased with the house, the community, the beach and the entire stay. The property was fantastic! It was spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated and exceptionally clean. The location was near the woods which was very peaceful but still easy walking distance to the beach. We had a great week. Little bit of everything - rain, sun. Loved it all. Enjoyed the privacy and quiet! Such a change from our busy neighborhood and dogs at home. Thanks for sharing your home. We enjoyed dining on the patio-bug free and with the fire! Easy walk to the beach, refreshing pool. Perfect timing as our original plans were to Mexico but with COVID...great way to travel and breathe, but with social distance.
This was the 1st time my kids have experienced Florida. It was a much needed vacation for all of us and we had so much fun. Your home is beautiful and we loved staying here. We are hoping to make this an annual trip. Thank you.
